The round red backdrop depicts the rising sun. The sun symbolizes the
country of origin - the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan. The superimposed

Tohei of Japan.
The word 'Ki-Aikido'
below relates to the Aikido with Mind & Body Coordinated. The logo highlights
the Ki and Ki-Aikido programmes conducted by Ki no Kenkyukai H.Q. in Japan
and Ki organizations worldwide. This includes Singapore.
AIKIDO
Morihei Uyeshiba
originated Aikido. He was revered in the orient as O'Sensei and respected
in the western world as professor of Aikido.
SENSEI KOICHI
TOHEI
O'Sensei Uyeshiba awarded the highest grade of 10th Dan to his prized
disciple, Sensei Koichi Tohei.
He was appointed Chief Instructor and headed the Board of Instructors.
Several years after the passing away of his master, Sensei Tohei left the
establishment.
AIKIDO with KI (Ki-Aikido)
In the practice of Aikido, he transformed the approach to a means for Ki
training, while retaining its martial arts heritage.
It was established in 1974 as Aikido with Mind & Body Coordinated.
APPLICATION (Ki
in Daily Life)
Over the
decades, Sensei Tohei has evolved his Ki programme to cover practically all
walks of life in-depth.
He is researching and creating more constructive Ki disciplines in every
field of daily life, including healing, sports, performing arts, etc.
